The Si-CORE Policy Data Manager (PDM) is the most powerful component of the Si-CORE System. The PDM manages system processing for all business rules and compliancy requirements specific to YOUR business and the blocks you manage.
Si-CORE’s Policy Data Manager (PDM) is a sophisticated software solution that enables rapid new product development and deployment, which allows annuity providers to free themselves of the limitations of legacy policy administration systems. The PDM core module is a flexible rules-based system that is built on Microsoft's .NET Web-based technology.
The Policy Data Manager (PDM) is fully integrated with Sword FircoSoft's Watchlist filtering. Sword FircoSoft's Watchlist filtering is a complimentary solution that enables Si-CORE’s PDM to comply with international AML regulations such as general transaction filtering and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
The Policy Data Manager (PDM) provides full support of the essential financial transactions required for effective data management. Through the PDM you can obtain any information for a policy from a top level view down to fund level information for a specific transaction on a specific date. The PDM functionality is broken out into four (4) subsections to better organize the available data as well as make it easier to retrieve.
- Policy Summary: Allows you to obtain important top level information on any policy within the system.
- Financial History: Allows you to obtain information on policy events for a given date range.
- Investments: Allows you to obtain information of the securities any given policy is invested for a given date. A full audit trail is detailed and captured for further drill down capabilities.
- Rider Values: Allows you to obtain more detailed information on the elected riders for a given policy. This expands on the summary information and provides more in-depth detail.
As with other Si-CORE modules, the Policy Data Manager (PDM) makes use of the ACORD open standard which allows for easy integration with other third-party systems. Various Si-CORE modules, such as the PDM, can simply ‘plug-in’ to any existing application that implements the ACORD standard. Si-CORE ACORD compliance is implemented at both the transaction level as well as the data level, allowing for ease of integration in both areas.
